A leading lime and lime derivative chemical producer in Asia with lime production capacity of over 1,000,000 tons per year and current customer bases in various industries located in Asia, Australia and Africa. Siriman Chemicals plant in Visakhapatnam of India
commenced its operation in January
Chememan further strengthened its distribution capabilities
with the investment in the Hope Valley Distribution Center in Kwinana in Western Australia in June having throughput annual capacity of 500,000 tons
Tubkwang Company Limited, a subsidiary of Chememan,
completed its liquidation process for its dissolution in December.
Calmix Company Limited was formed in January as a joint venture in Thailand between Chememan Plc and 2 German partners,
named Bergmann Kalk Holding GmbH and Kalkwerke H. Oetelshofen GmbH & Co. KG, with the goal of developing, manufacturing and distributing construction materials to serve markets in Thailand and other SEA countries.
Chememan expanded its production capacity of Kangkoi plant
with the investment in the fourth quicklime kiln (KK4), having the installed annual capacity of 73,000 tons. The commercial operation commenced was in February.
Easternbulk Lime Products plant in Tuticorin of India
commenced its operation in July.
Chememan expanded its presence in Vietnam
with the acquisition of Ha Long QN Lime Company Limited in strategic location of Quang Ninh province in November. The acquisition comprises both quarry and production facility that further strengthen Chememan’s network of supply and broaden Chememan’s footprint in the region.
Chememan expanded its production capacity of Kangkoi plant
with the investment in a new quicklime kiln (KK6), having the installed annual capacity of 113,150 tons. The commercial operation commenced in January.
Chememan issued an IPO of 240 million shares from 14th – 16th March,
raising the Company’s paid-up capital from Baht 720 million to Baht 960 million
Chememan was listed on 21st March under the stock quote CMAN
on the Stock Exchange of Thailand for the first time
Chememan raised its capital from Baht 650 million to Baht 720 million
by raising Baht 70 million from existing shareholders
Significant step was taken to expand production base in India with the investment in a joint venture,
named Easternbulk Lime Products Private Limited, in Tuticorin, to manufacture and distribute lime products in the country
Chememan Company Limited became Chememan Public Company Limited
on 10th August
Chememan expanded its production capacity of Kangkoi plant
with the investment of two quicklime kilns (KK3 and KK5) with combined annual lime capacity of 182,500 tons
Chememan further established Chememan India Private Limited
to conduct market research and build customer base in India
Chememan made the first entry point of lime business in India with a joint venture,
named Siriman Chemicals India Private Limited, in Visakhapatnam to manufacture and distribute lime products to support demand in the area
Chememan Lao Company Limited was founded
to engage in the manufacturing and distribution of lime products in Lao PDR
Chememan was granted a new 25-year concession for industrial mining of limestone at Tubkwang quarry,
ending in 2040.
Chememan expanded its production capacity of Kangkoi plant
with the investment of the second quicklime kiln (KK2) with annual lime capacity of 109,500 tons.
Chememan developed its own hydrated lime plant in Rayong
with the installed production capacity of 87,600 tons per year.
The first quicklime kiln, called KK1, of Kangkoi plant
was installed with the installed production capacity of 54,750 tons per year.
Chememan set up Northman Company Limited to supply secondary source of raw material,
conduct product inspection and local market research in Vietnam.
The first trading arm of Chememan in Singapore was set up,
named Chememan International Pte. Ltd.
Chememan’s two quicklime kilns at Prabuddhabaht plant was successfully converted to use a new source of fuel from fuel oils to natural gas,
making the kilns produced more efficiently.
The first trading arm of Chememan in Western Australia,
named Chememan Australia Pty. Ltd.
Chememan acquired land at Kangkoi district, currently being Kangkoi plant,
and developed to be a new production facility of lime products.
A concession for industrial mining of limestone at Tubkwang quarry
was transferred from the existing holder to Chememan.
Chememan subleased mineral mining right of Tubkwang quarry from the existing holder
and started commencement of Tubkwang’s operation in Kangkoi district, Saraburi.
Chememan was founded as a limited company on 5th March
with the registered capital of Baht 1 million to manufacture and sell lime and lime-related products.
