On 10 April 2024, Chememan PLC joined force with Government Agencies and communities organized the event ‘Kin Kao Kin Pla Plook Pla Sang Fai,’ or translated into ‘Eat Rice Eat Fish, Plant Forest Build Dam.’ This is under the company’s ‘Plant Forest, Build Kitchen’ Activity that has been running for sometimes. The activities included a simple building of the Check Dam of the ‘Pig Pen’ type onto the forest within the Ban Tam Nampu Community in Saraburi. This simple activity could help return the moisture and freshness to the forest. On this occasion, the company also handed over the firebreak, the fire extinguisher equipment to the Authorities. The more relaxing activity of teaching ‘rice wrapped under banana leaf’ was also some fun activities that would create additional incomes. Not only participants were fully proud of help conserve the environment, but they would also get to taste the special delicious menu of chili-paste rice wrapped under banana leaves, in hikers’ style.
