On 30 January 2024, Chememan PLC, Forest Resources Management Office 5 (Saraburi), the Office of Natural Resources and Environment of Saraburi, as well as the Ban Tam Nampu Community Forest Committee organized the firebreak prevention activity at the Ban Tam Nampu Community Forest, Tubkwang subdistrict, Kangkoi Saraburi. This was to prevent the forest fire enterting into the community forest, as well as, provided the monitoring route of forest fire. This would also be used as the barricade to help put out the forest fire. The activity ran throughout the dry months of January – March 2024. During the implementation of this activity, many dry leaves and fallen branches were plenty. Therefore, making the leaves and the branches into fertilizer would earn two things in one shot. The fertilizer produced could certainly be sold for community’s additional incomes.
