On 1 August 2023, Chememan PLC led by Major General Nattapond Kongsompong, Vice President, Sustainability Development, together with management team and staff, commemorated the special Buddhist Lent’s activity of providing monk’s with ‘Large Buddhist Candle,’ ‘Lamp,’ ‘Sanghadana,’ and ‘Breakfast for the Monk’ for all monks at Wat Phra Photisat, Kangkoi Saraburi on the occasion of Asanha Bucha and Buddhist Lent days. In addition to the traditional Buddhist ceremony, the tree planting activity was also planned around the temple and within the community forest area of Moo 10. This aligned perfectly with the company’s main ambitions in providing the surrounding areas of company’s factory with the highest of social and environmental standards. This activity was one element under the company’s CMAN DMAN project on ‘plant forest, build kitchen.’ This was also a special commemoration of the company’s 20th Anniversary, which proved the strong will and intention of Chememan PLC to provide food sources, career opportunities, learning center, as well as, carbon credit sources for the community throughout our 20 years of history.
