On 29 March 2023, Chememan PLC, together with Royal Forest Department, Kasetsart University and Ban Nampu Community, opened the project called ‘CMAN DMAN plant forest, build kitchen, or Plook Pa Sang Krua in Thai words.’ The project was launched at the community forest in Moo 10, Tubkwang subdistrict, Kangkoi in Saraburi province. The purposes of the project are to create jobs, provide more food sources, facilitate learning, and give communities more carbon credit opportunities and options. The goal of the project is to plant 12,000 trees of community forest species within 3 years. The targeted species are those that are food sources, such as Neem, Trumpet, Indian Gooseberry, Mango, Durian, Tamarind, Jambolan Plum, and Bamboo. The ultimate goal is for communities to make their own food for living, and yielding additional incomes for the people.

On this special occasion, we are humbly grateful to have the presence of Mr. Adisak Lowjun, the CEO of our company along with our executive management team. There were also representatives from Royal Forest Department, Kasetsart University, Ban Nampu Community, the Principal and team from the Chumchon Nikom Tubkwang Songkroe 1 School, the Abbot of Phra Pho-ti-sad Temple, as well as, all volunteers from CMAN DMAN joining the event.
