CMAN Breaks Ground on a Brand New Lime Plant in Khimsar

Mr. Adisak Lowjun, Chief Executive Officer, Chememan Public Company Limited (“CMAN”), one of the world’s top ten lime producers, and Mr. Dhananjai Singh, owner of Khimsar Mine Corporation (“KMC”) that controls large chemical grade limestone mines in India, broke ground on the construction of its first modern lime manufacturing plant in Khimsar Village in the State of Rajasthan. The plant is scheduled for completion by early 2026 with annual production capacity of 100,000 tons. As the size of land on which the plant will be built is around 126 acres, a detailed master plan has been finalized to increase annual production to 500,000 tons in subsequent phases. M.L. Chandchutha Chandratat, Chairman, and several executives of CMAN traveled from Thailand to attend the event as well.

CMAN and KMC formalized their long-term strategic partnership through the signing of the Khimsar Agreement in January this year. Under the agreement, CMAN is tasked with the design, engineering, supplier sourcing, and supervision of the plant’s construction. Additionally, CMAN will perform the commercial and technical management of the plant, executing the vision of both partners to become one of the largest lime producers in India. This long-term partnership with KMC marks a significant step for CMAN to expand its lime production capacity in India and supports its long-term goal to become one of the world’s top five lime producers.
